Graphite drawings
Very detailed drawings with high quality graphite pencils.
Classical and timeless, on white paper.

Pastel drawings

Currently 6 different paper colors available.
Pastel pictures must be handled with care and framed with a mountboard so that the picture does touch the glass surface.

Are you looking for an emotional gift? Then you are definitely right with a unique portrait drawing! I accept a limited number of commissions per year, these can be either human or pet portraits. All my portraits are traditionally hand drawn using high quality artist materials. Many hours goes into each portrait providing you with a unique and treasured drawing for many years to come.

Reference Image
​
The better the photo, the better the drawing!
The first stage is to choose your photos. This is the most important part in the commission process. I cannot stress enough how important it is to choose the right photo reference, as my aim is to create a drawing that you can treasure for many years to come.

Payment
Before I begin the portrait, a 50% deposit is required. Once the deposit is received, you'll be placed on my waiting list and notified as soon as I start. The remaining 50% is due upon completion of the drawing – only then will the portrait be sent.
Waiting time
Depending on the size of the drawing, waiting times can be several weeks or months. Therefore, you should definitely reserve a spot on my waiting list 2 or 3 months before you need the drawing! If you have a preferred date and are unsure whether the picture can be completed in time, please let me know and I will update you.
Backgrounds
The above prices refer to a portrait WITHOUT a background. For a small surcharge it is possible to include a simple and blurred background. For elaborate, detailed backgrounds please add between 30% and 50% of the basic price. (Further information via email)
Framing and mounting options
On request and connected to additional costs, I can add a suitable mount board to your drawing, ready to be framed. Since the shipping format changes due to the mount board, higher shipping costs may occur.
